Today, AI — or Artificial Intelligence — has become extremely popular and is used all over the world. Naturally, many people are now debating whether AI will make humans less intelligent.

Of course, we can’t know the exact answer, but we can make predictions. Think back to when calculators were first invented. People were afraid that no one would be able to do math anymore, that everyone would become less intelligent, and that mathematicians would lose their jobs. That didn’t happen. We simply started using calculators as a tool for help.

However, AI is a whole new level. It is developing faster and faster.

But first, what do you imagine when you hear the words “artificial intelligence”? Most likely robots that move around, or ChatGPT. In reality, AI is much more than that. It’s in your social media apps like Instagram and TikTok, your Face ID, recommendation systems, and much more. All of this is artificial intelligence.

For humans, learning something new requires practice — we repeat actions many times until they become automatic. You might be surprised, but AI systems work in a similar way. At first, they act randomly, but over time they learn from data, remember information, and begin to work more accurately and efficiently.
